Crime Stats | Cachalia concerned over growing thread of organised crime

Behind every crime statistic is a traumatised victim, a grieving family and a community living in fear. These are the words of Acting Police Minister, Professor Firoz Cachalia.

He was speaking during the release of the fourth quarter crime statistics in Pretoria.

Cachalia has also conveyed condolences to the family of North West anti-crime activist, Thato Molosankwe, who was recently gunned down, saying all available police resources have been deployed to track down his killers.
