I would also like to highlight some of the important announcements made today. These include the establishment of a Cybersecurity Dialogue and a Consular Dialogue, as well as a Roadmap for bilateral defence cooperation for the period 2026–2031. Cyprus has also decided to join the Indo-Pacific Oceans Initiative and will co-chair the pillar on trade connectivity and maritime transport. It was also announced that India–Cyprus Space Day will be celebrated in May 2026. The Cypriot side expressed its intention to open a Cyprus Trade Centre in India. A joint statement will also be issued, which will set out the direction for the future Strategic Partnership that has been established today. India and Cyprus share a close and time-tested relationship. The two countries will mark 65 years of the establishment of diplomatic relations in 2027, which will be commemorated with various activities in both countries. Our ties are anchored in shared democratic values, respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity, and close cooperation in multilateral forums.
