A number of foreign nationals arrested in Fleurhof

The City of Johannesburg is leading a major multi-stakeholder raid operation at Fleurhof hostel in Johannesburg, in an effort to address ongoing concerns around illegal occupation, poor living conditions and crime in the area.
The operation includes the demolition of identified hostel structures and relocation of some residents.
Several law enforcement and government departments are on site to ensure the operation is carried out safely and legally.
