Madlanga Commission | Questions as to whether there was 'hidden hand' in IDAC's interest in PKTT

The Madlanga Commission has challenged former IDAC Head, Advocate Andrea Johnson's claim that she did not know that IDAC was investigating the Political Killings Task Team.

This, as an April 2025 subpoena for information, authorised by Johnson, showed that item six wanted information on the PKTT.

SABC News Senior Reporter Canny Maphanga reports that Johnson could not explain why.
