NW residents still recovering from heavy rains, hailstorms

Many households in the North West are still recovering from the impact of recent heavy rains and hailstorms.

Severe weather conditions caused widespread structural damage in the Mahikeng, Tswaing, Greater Taung, Rustenburg, Ramotshere Moiloa and City of Matlosana municipalities.

Homes were left with collapsed roofs, damaged walls and shattered windows.

And while affected residents were promised temporary residential units, many say they are still waiting for help, as authorities promised.
