Immigration Tensions | Foreign nationals to be processed at eThekwini refugee facility

Hundreds of foreign nationals seeking refuge at the Diakonia Centre in the Durban CBD have been transported to a eThekwini Refugee facility, where they will be processed.

eThekwini Executive Mayor, Cyril Xaba said Home Affairs officials will work through the night to process each of the foreign nationals and those with the required documents would be reintegrated into the community and those without, will be processed for deportation.
