Foreign nationals continue to camp outside Durban's Diakonia Centre

SAPS and the Department of Home Affairs are expected to convene a meeting with the affected foreign nationals who have spent 3 consecutive nights away from their residences, citing intimidation and abuse from locals.

Home Affairs is expected to verify their status in the country and permits to conduct business in South Africa, as well as address their safety concerns.
