Israeli strikes push more Lebanese families into shelters western Bekaa Valley

Israeli forces have expanded military operations beyond southern Lebanon into the western Bekaa Valley, targeting Shia Muslim-majority villages where Hezbollah has support. Dozens of villages are now occupied, and displacement orders have been issued for areas considered strategically important to Hezbollah's operations. Hundreds of thousands of people have been displaced, many sheltering in temporary accommodation with no certainty about when they might return home. For some residents, it is the second time in their lives that Israeli forces have occupied the region.
