Zolani Tete Murder | Mdantsane court dismisses bid to transfer accused to public hospital

The Mdantsane Magistrates' Court in the Eastern Cape has dismissed an application to have the alleged mastermind in the murder of slain boxing superstar Zolani Tete transferred to a public medical facility.

This is due to his severe health condition that needs attention.

The 22-year-old man, who uses a wheelchair, faces a charge of murder and attempted murder in relation to the case.

He was paralysed after he was shot in July last year.

He's in the process of applying for bail, and his matter will be heard on the first of September, together with accused number four.
