Thai man who posed as emergency responder at Bangkok bar fire investigated by police

He looked like any other emergency responder at the scene of Bangkok's deadly bar fire on Jul 12.

But "Lieutenant Nat" wasn't an official emergency responder. The man, who was seen escorting Thailand's prime minister and speaking to the media, is now under police scrutiny over allegations that he falsely presented himself as emergency personnel and spread misinformation about the fire. He denies intending to mislead the public.
