Community shocked by death of North West activist

Shock and grief have gripped the North West community of Lomanyaneng, near Mahikeng, following the fatal shooting of community activist and anti corruption campaigner, Thato Molosankwe.

Molosankwe was reportedly gunned down at his home in the early hours of this morning after being confronted by assailants, who shot him multiple times.
Family members expressed deep disbelief and are mourning his sudden death.
North West MEC for Community Safety, Wessels Morweng, has called for calm, assuring residents that police are on the scene and are working to gather information surrounding the circumstances of the killing.
The motive for the attack remains unclear, but the incident has once again raised concerns about the safety of activists and community leaders.
