Philippine weaving industry hit by rising costs, supply chain disruptions

Traditional Filipino fabrics and designs returned to the spotlight at the recent Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) leaders' summit in Cebu. But Philippines' weaving industry, which supports thousands of small- and medium-enterprises, has not been spared by supply chain disruptions and rising costs due to the conflict in the Middle East.
