Trump delays Iran strikes as fears grow over wider regional war

US President Donald Trump has reportedly delayed possible military strikes on Iran amid pressure from Gulf allies and ongoing diplomatic efforts. But analysts say negotiations remain stalled, with frustration growing in Washington over the lack of progress.

US security and foreign policy journalist Alex Marquardt says there is still a significant possibility of renewed military action if talks fail to move forward. He also warned that Iran retains major military capabilities despite repeated US and Israeli strikes.
