Kenya heightens surveillance following outbreak of Ebola

The Kenya has heightened surveillance and screening at Busia border post following the outbreak of Ebola in the Democratic Republic of Congo that has claimed over 130 lives. The government has deployed a team of medics to screen travellers from the Great Lakes region following reports that neighbouring Uganda has already reported one death linked to the Ebola virus.
