Matatu strike suspended for a week

Stakeholders in the matatu industry have suspended their protests against the fuel hike for 7 days to pave way for further negotiations. Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen, Energy Cabinet Secretary Opiyo Wandayi, Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja and sector players said the one-week window will allow for high-level deliberations.
