A police officer loses his firearm in Makueni during fuel price hike protests

The just suspended fuel hikes demonstrations have left a trail of deaths, injuries, destruction, and looting. In Naivasha, two people were the latest victims of the Matatu protests, with scores left nursing injuries. Nine trucks were also set ablaze, while three supermarkets were looted and further set ablaze amidst the chaos. And as Giverson Maina now reports, a police officer allegedly lost a firearm in the hands of protesters in Makueni County.
