Education | Plans to phase out some old courses

South Africa's education and training landscape is undergoing its first major overhaul in over a decade.

The South African Qualifications Authority has removed more than one thousand, one hundred outdated 'legacy' qualifications from the national register.

Authorities say the aim is to phase out old courses, and realign skills development with a modern, rapidly shifting job market.
