Two people allegedly shot as foreign nationals march in Durban

Foreign nationals who sought refuge at a Durban police station, are now marching through the city, calling on authorities to intervene and protect them.

The group says they were forced out of their communities amid rising tensions, intimidation and attacks.
Many say they fled their homes, fearing for their safety and sought shelter at the police station.

They say they are legal refugees who came to South Africa escaping conflict, instability and economic hardship in their home countries.
