Morero cracks down on illegal structures

The City of Johannesburg says it is intensifying efforts to reclaim hijacked and unsafe buildings in the inner city.

This follows a court interdict linked to illegal structures inside Marble Towers, one of the notorious buildings in the CBD.

At the same time, law enforcement agencies launched a major operation targeting undocumented immigrants and criminal activity in the area.
