France urges IMF, World Bank to do more as G7 finance chiefs look to contain Iran war fallout

France is calling for more support from the IMF and the World Bank for vulnerable nations caught up in the economic fallout from the war on Iran. Finance ministers and central bank chiefs from the Group of Seven (G7) are wrapping up two days of talks in Paris, which have focused on impact from war, volatility in global bond markets and growing pressure on global trade and supply chains.
