Mogale City Local Municipality grappling with severe urban decay

The Mogale City Local Municipality in Gauteng's West Rand is facing myriad of service delivery challenges. These include ageing and neglected infrastructure, critical wastewater failures and poor public communication. Sewage spills and overflowing riverbanks are not only degrading the environment, but also crippling local agriculture and tourism, two key pillars of the local economy.

While the city has rolled out a new waste fleet and implemented targeted interventions, widespread service delivery deficits remain a critical concern for residents. On our "Your Voice, Your Choice" segment this morning, we are focusing on the Mogale City Local Municipality.
