PhalaPhala Saga | Parties have until Friday to submit nominees for impeachment committee

Political parties represented in the National Assembly have until the close of business this Friday to submit nominees to serve on the Impeachment Committee to probe the Section 89 Independent Panel report on the Phala Phala matter.

This follows the Constitutional Court ruling that invalidated the National Assembly's decision not to institute impeachment proceedings against President Cyril Ramaphosa based on the report.

Meanwhile, Ramaphosa has indicated that he plans to take the report on review.
