Ciren Zhandui, born in Naqu, Xizang Autonomous Region, is a Chinese cross-country skier. He won gold at the Asian Winter Games and became one of the first Tibetan athletes to compete at the Winter Olympics. Growing up on the snowy plateau, he rose from the mountains of Xizang to the international stage through perseverance and determination, showcasing the spirit of a new generation of Tibetan athletes.
