Brown Mogotsi to appear in court tomorrow

Alleged political fixer Brown Mogotsi is said to be struggling in police custody following his arrest on Friday evening.

His lawyer, Makau Sekgatja, told SABC News outside Johannesburg Central Police Station that he is not coping well in the cells.

Mogotsi was arrested on charges of defeating the ends of justice after concluding his testimony at the Madlanga Commission in Pretoria.

Police say the case relates to an alleged staged assassination attempt. He is expected in court tomorrow.
