Eastern Cape battered by extreme weather conditions

Over the past few months, the Eastern Cape has been battered by extreme weather conditions that left thousands displaced, and others scrambling to rebuild their homes.

The dry and windy conditions fuelled a widespread fire that ravaged parts of the Kouga municipality and the Nelson Mandela Bay Metro.

Also, a recent winter storm severely impacted the Kouga region with the the Kou-kamma Municipality and the Nelson Mandela Bay Metro the hardest hit.
