Deadly Ebola outbreak in Congo, Uganda a global health emergency: WHO

The World Health ‌Organization declared an Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda a 'public health emergency of international concern' but said it does not meet the criteria for a pandemic. As of Saturday, the DRC's Ituri province had reported 80 suspected deaths, eight laboratory-confirmed cases and 246 suspected cases across at least three health zones.
