ANC NW mourns former North West Premier Bushy Maape

The ANC has sent their condolences to the family of former North West Premier Bushy Maape, his friends and the people of the North West.

Maape, who served as the premier from 2021 to 2024, died in a Johannesburg hospital on Saturday.

He was recruited into the underground structures of the ANC during the Apartheid era and was incarcerated on Robben Island in 1986.
