Six youths shot dead by suspected bandits in Tigania East laid to rest

Sorrow and anger filled Maburwa Primary School in Tigania East Sub-county, Meru County, as thousands of mourners gathered for a requiem mass for six youths from Amuthumba killed by suspected bandits at Mlima Rasta earlier this week. The service also reflected growing frustration among residents and church leaders over the local National Government administration led by Meru County Commissioner John Kiprotich.
