Kenya-Somalia peace talks held in Kiunga

A landmark peace dialogue between residents of Kiunga in Kenya and Ras Kamboni in Somalia has unveiled a bold proposal to unite the identities of the two border towns under one name — “Kiumboni.” The talks also focused on healthcare, trade and long-standing documentation challenges facing border communities.
