Hong Kong strengthens trade ties with South Africa

Hong Kong is looking to strengthen its economic footprint in Africa by deepening trade and investment ties with South Africa, which it describes as a key gateway to the continent.

Invest Hong Kong Associate Director-General Loretta Lee is in Johannesburg as discussions focus on expanding opportunities in sectors such as technology and green energy.

The visit also aims to position Hong Kong as a strategic entry point for African businesses into Asian markets.
