We Talk: What do Americans say about the China-US meeting?

The Chinese and US presidents held talks on May 14, during which the two sides reached common understandings on the new vision of building a constructive China-US relationship of strategic stability, which is expected to provide strategic guidance for bilateral relations over the next three years and beyond.

A CGTN stringer hit the streets of New York, asking Americans how they think the meeting will affect the US, Chinese and global economies, and what new opportunities the future relationship will bring. Those surveyed generally reacted positively to the meeting's outcomes and looked forward to early progress on trade, climate and technology.
