India Stands in Solidarity with UAE #indiauaerelations

Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi conveyed India’s strongest condemnation of the recent attacks on the UAE during his meeting with President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

PM Modi expressed India’s full solidarity with the UAE leadership and people, and emphasised the need for unimpeded transit passage through the Strait of Hormuz and an immediate end to attacks on shipping and mariners.

Both sides agreed to remain closely engaged on these issues. The Prime Minister Modi also invited the UAE President Zayed Al Nahyan to visit India at an early date.
