It serves as a follow-up to the understandings reached during the visit, during which the CECEL programme was launched by the two leaders. The initiative covers several areas that are of strategic importance, particularly in the context of the evolving geopolitical situation. There is a growing need to strengthen South-South cooperation within the broader framework of the Global South, and the India-Africa Forum Summit provides an important platform to advance that objective.
