'L’Abuso': Real Italian magazine cover of Israeli settler sparks online storm • FRANCE 24

Left-leaning Italian weekly L’Espresso is at the centre of a diplomatic storm, after the Israeli ambassador to Italy slammed its front cover as “manipulative.” The magazine titled its latest edition “L’Abuso” or “The Abuse,” alongside a photo of an armed Israeli settler sneering, whilst pointing his smartphone at a visibly-distressed Palestinian woman. Whilst pro-Israel accounts mocked the photo as AI, the photographer verified it's real with a video from the incident, as Vedika Bahl explains.
