Universities urged to align research with community needs for greater impact

Kenyan universities and research institutions have been challenged to align their research with the needs of local communities to create meaningful impact beyond academic publications. The call was made by the Secretary for Higher Education in the Ministry of Education, Dr. Carol Hunja, during a multidisciplinary conference on research and innovation held at Rongo University Migori County.
