Mwingi residents protest release of suspects in Sh21 Million donkey hides case

Women in Mwingi County have protested against a recent court ruling in which suspects linked to the illegal donkey hide trade in the area were released on what they described as lenient terms. The suspects had been arrested when a multi-agency security team intercepted a trailer in Musingi area that was reportedly transporting donkey hides worth KSh 21 million.
