The legal team of the National Coloured Congress MP, Fadiel Adams, will deliver their argument for bail in the Pinetown Magistrate's Court on Friday.
Adams was arrested in Cape Town last week on charges of fraud and defeating the ends of justice.
This, after he allegedly interfered with two cases handled by the Political Killings Task Team.
In one instance, Adams allegedly interviewed and shot a video of one of the accused in prison while the trial over the high-profile murder of the then ANC Youth League Secretary General, Sindiso Magaqa, was underway.
The State has argued that if Adams is granted bail, he may attempt to interfere with witnesses.
