A Jordanian search-and-rescue team rescued a toddler alive from beneath the rubble of a collapsed building in Caracas, Venezuela, after the child spent six days trapped, Jordan's state news agency reported on Tuesday (Jun 30).
More than 1,700 people have been killed, over 5,000 injured and around 15,000 left homeless after the back-to-back earthquakes on Jun 24 destroyed or damaged hundreds of buildings.
The international community has rallied to support relief efforts, with aid largely focused on La Guaira, the state hardest hit by the disaster. #venezuela #venezuelanews #earthquake
