Keir Starmer faces growing rebellion as Labour leadership challengers emerge

Pressure is mounting on UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer as he faces a growing rebellion within his governing Labour Party. Several senior politicians are reportedly positioning themselves for a potential leadership challenge, including former health secretary Wes Streeting, who quit the cabinet on Thursday. Meanwhile, a Labour MP is stepping down to make way for Greater Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham, another possible contender for the party leadership.
