The leaders of China and the United States have underlined the importance of building a strong relationship between the world's two largest economies. US President Donald Trump is in China's capital Beijing on a two-day state visit hosted by Chinese President Xi Jinping amid a strained economic relationship and geo political concerns including the War in Iran and the issue of Taiwan.
The leaders and their teams met for more than two hours earlier today and later attended a state banquet in honor of the visiting delegation.
