Xi Jinping hosts Trump

Chinese President Xi Jinping has issued a warning to US President Donald Trump, saying the Taiwan issue is important to US-China relations.

The two leaders opened a high-stakes summit in Beijing on Thursday.

The Chinese leader also praised progress in trade talks between the two sides, adding there would be 'no winners' in a tariff war.
