Xi says US, China have 'most important bilateral relationship in the world' as he meets Trump

The presidents of the US and China toasting to what they call the "most important bilateral relationship in the world". Donald Trump and Xi Jinping wrapped up the first day of a historic summit with a lavish state banquet and a reciprocal invitation to the White House in September. During two hours of talks, Mr Xi urged for deeper cooperation and stronger ties, while Mr Trump predicted a "fantastic future" for bilateral ties. However, Mr Xi warned Mr Trump that missteps on Taiwan could push their two countries into "conflict". Tan Si Hui reports from Beijing and Nick Harper reports from Washington DC.
