Fresh turmoil gripping the Philippine Senate. Former police chief Ronald dela Rosa, who is wanted by the International Criminal Court, has slipped out overnight after days under Senate protection. This marks a dramatic turn in the high-stakes standoff over his possible arrest. The ICC had issued a warrant against Dela Rosa for crimes against humanity — specifically for 32 alleged murders committed in the Philippines between July 2016 and end-April 2018.
