Free State honours ANC struggle veteran Dr Pule Matjoa with Special Provincial Official Funeral

ANC struggle veteran, Dr Pule Matjoa, will be laid to rest in Bloemfontein on Saturday.

Following the banning of the ANC in 1960, Dr Matjoa left South Africa for Cuba where he received military training and also qualified as a dentist.

The 88-year-old stalwart was the last surviving member of the Nelson Mandela Disciples and will be honoured with the highest provincial funeral category, a Special Provincial Official funeral.
