North West businessman and alleged political fixer Brown Mogotsi is expected to appear in the Johannesburg Magistrate's Court this morning on a charge of defeating the ends of justice.

Mogotsi was arrested shortly after concluding his testimony at the Madlanga Commission last Friday.

The case relates to the alleged staging of an attempted assassination on his life in Vosloorus in November last year.
