* President Cyril Ramaphosa faces members of the National Assembly this afternoon, when he answers oral questions in Parliament. This would be the first time the President faces politicians after the Constitutional court judgement last Friday.

* The N-1 highway in both directions between Worcester and Paarl in the Boland, has been reopened but motorists should however expect heavy delays. Rescue teams will meanwhile be conducting operations today to reach various communities in the Breede Valley area, that have been hit hard by the recent storms in the province

* Judge Nkosinathi Chili is due to hand down his ruling today on the state's so-called Stop Stalingrad application in the corruption case of former President Jacob Zuma in the Pietermaritzburg High Court.
