Ngizwe Mchunu apologises to Malema after court finds him in contempt

Cultural activist and media personality Ngizwe Mchunu has issued a swift apology to EFF leader Julius Malema. This after the High Court in Pretoria issued a warrant of arrest for Mchunu.

He was found guilty of contempt of court and ordered to issue a public apology following a civil defamation application that Malema had brought against him.

This was over remarks Mchunu made outside the Union Buildings in April, accusing Malema of protecting undocumented migrants and receiving a 60-million-rand payment from Nigerian drug cartels.

The incident went viral on social media.

The court ruled in favour of Malema, ordering Mchunu to issue a public apology.
