High alert in Ukraine: Russia may launch Oreshnik in 24h | Ukraine Brief

Kyiv warned Friday of the high probability that Russia will launch an Oreshnik ballistic missile at Ukraine in the next 24 hours. This comes as Russian strikes against Ukraine over the last day have claimed the lives of nine people and injured 60. Ukraine launched its own wave of drone attacks against Russia, targeting two oil refineries in Tatarstan, as well as a rubber plant in Russia’s Samara region.

Meanwhile, Kyiv is doubling down on efforts to implement AI into its unmanned forces, further strengthening the ability of Ukrainian drones to penetrate deep into Russia while circumventing signal-jamming systems.
