Motlanthe calls for continental unity on migration

Former President Kgalema Motlanthe says migration remains one of the defining challenges facing both South Africa and the African continent, requiring coordinated and sustainable responses.

Motlanthe was speaking at the Kgalema Motlanthe Foundation's Winter Seminar in Sandton, held under the theme "Continent and Migration."

The seminar brought together political leaders, business executives, diplomats, academics and representatives of international organisations to examine the opportunities and challenges associated with migration from a continental perspective.
