Possible prison time for insulting Public Protector

Public Interest SA says it is concerned by aspects of the recent media statement issued by the Office of the Public Protector South Africa.

You'd remember here on the show we read the statement that was issued by the Public Protector following the ruling by the Constitutional Court last week.

But the part of the statement that Public Interest SA has an issue with is insulting the Public Protector or the Deputy Public Protector, which constitutes a criminal offence that could lead to imprisonment or a fine of up to R40 000.
